I've Got a HOUSE I'd Like to Give You...
In honor of the new season of HOUSE, which kicks off with a 2-hour season premiere on Monday, I have one House Season 5 DVD to give away!

If you'd like to enter to win, leave a comment here or on my Facebook wall with your name and email address, stating WHY you'd like to win the DVD. The only rules are that you must live in the U.S. and can only enter one time.
This contest is open until Monday, September 21 at 8pm PST. I will then put all of your names into a hat and randomly select one winner, which I will announce either later that evening or the following day.
Simple enough? Bring it on. Win a House of your very own.

This season of House was the best. The shock of Kutner's death, was devastating to the audience but brilliant to watch as all the characters dealt with it. I know many don't enjoy Thirteen, and maybe that's because she has taken away from the main characters, but I have enjoyed Olivia Wilde's contribution to the show, as well as as her character arc. I can't wait for the new season. The finale was beautiful and so tragic. I would like to be able to see this season over again, and enjoy those moments again and again. Such a great show, almost perfect season.

I'd love to win because, despite how into this show I have been in previous seasons, I fell behind this season and need to catch up on a whole stretch of episodes in the middle. I swear, TV on DVD has ruined me and the only show I can keep up with on a weekly basis anymore is Lost. But I watched from Kutner's death on and I'm excited to see how the show reinvents itself this season and how they reinsert the original ducklings back into the main storyline in a less awkward way.

As a loyal House fan since the beginning of the series, it's absolutely horrible to admit that was not able to watch most of the 5th season, due to classes, homework and work. Besides that, what I did watch from this season was wonderfully brilliant and I'd love to be able to watch it all over again (and again...). Definitely one of the best seasons of House to date!

Only saw half last season once they moved the show to Monday, but season 6 preview looks good so I need to catch up!

I would like to win this DVD set because I like House; we missed a bunch of eps last season, for various reasons; and, ultimately, because I simply think it's cool to win things ~ especially *genuinely* cool things, like a House DVD set! (Hey, it's a random drawing; and, in any case, you didn't say it had to be a GREAT reason!

I would like to win because I was only able to watch a handful of episodes last season because of the move to Monday nights. I tried to catch up over the summer but failed. What could be better than a House season 5 marathon before getting into season 6?

I've loved House since the first episode I saw. I love his sarcasm and I love trying to figure out the diagnosis before they do on the show. Sadly I missed most of the last season because of school

I'd like to win the DVD because my friend just got me into House at the beginning of the summer and I rushed to catch up before this week's premiere. I borrowed the DVDs from this friend, and had to get them back immediately, so I didn't get to savor some of the wonderful moments of this season.
I'd love to relive Foreman and 13's relationship, Kutner and Taub's prescient conversation about suicide, the guy who said EVERYTHING that came into his head and, of course, the triumphant return of Amber.

I have the other four seasons of House on DVD, but don't think I'll be able to afford this one, though I would like to have it for my collection, simply because of my DVD OCD, which would drive me nuts if any part was missing. And season five was kind of good, too, so there's another reason.
Thanks for the opportunity, Jo! Great stuff.

You can never have too many good tv shows to watch.

House has changed the way I look at hospital dramas. I was never a big fan of ER or St. Elsewhere. It has a central character that is so enigmatic that makes you unable to turn the channel for fear you are going to miss what he does or says next. I would greatly appreciate Season 5 on DVD as it would compliment my only other TV show on DVD "LOST". Thanks for this opportunity and I like your Lost recaps.

I've been a big fan of House since it started, but I wasn't able to catch most of season five. I'd love to get caught up on it. Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard are fantastic!
