Shortest. Review. Ever: Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

It was:
  • Entertaining and exactly what I expected.
  • Great cinematography accompanied by cheesy dialog.
Shia LaBeouf was a pleasant surprise, and Cate Blanchett was hysterical and perfect as the villain.  Karen Allen looked like she had the most fun filming the movie, and perhaps the best time of her life. I don't care how old Harrison Ford is; he fills the iconic hat and role like no other.

The end.

Wifey and I saw it Monday night - there was a line an hour before it started - we were about 30 people deep. I thought it was awesome. Ford is way old, but I think they did a great job of not giving him too many action scenes that he couldnt accomplish. Shia did a nice job also. How incredible is Cate as an actress? I cant believe that she isnt nominated every year. She could shoot a Tide commercial and get an award.

Loved it. Great job Lucas and Spielberg. Lucberg? Spielcas? or maybe Georven and Stev-ge.

I was disappointed - the editing was jumpy and the opening scene was out of character with the other movies (the later chase scene should have been first). Not enough globetrotting and Ford was acting older than he is.
