Best Supporting Actress: YES!! Tilda Swinton. SWEET. OMG, loved the Clooney/Batman joke.
Best Adapted Screenplay: No Country For Old Men. As predicted.

And can I just say...the fact that Into the Wild and Eddie Vedder weren't nominated is outrageous. Three songs from Enchanted seems excessive. That being said...I do love Kristin Chenowith and Pushing Daisies.

Visual Effects should have gone to Transformers, hands down. How many times have we seen visual effects done for animals? Yes, we all saw Jurassic Park, now just add the hair. I don't recall seeing a Mac truck turn into a pimp named Optimus Prime... they should have had the Oscar 'transform' into a Decepticon and run-amuck on stage. Autobots, roll out.

About the small tv...we were watching it on our regular tv and apparently it's not big enough. During the best picture montage, the beginning letters of each movie were cut off and the dates were too. It did lead to some interesting viewing, however, especially when everyone's favorite musical "Liver!" came up... Curse my small screen!
